Alicia Sintes
Alicia Sintes (Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Universitat de les Illes Balears) is an expert in gravitational wave data analysis and has been a member of LIGO for more than 20 years. From within the collaboration, she has led the study of gravitational waves from its beginnings. She will be in charge of introducing the relevance of the area as well as the discoveries in recent years and future challenges.
Luis Lehner
Luis Lehner (Research Faculty, Perimeter Institute) is an expert in numerical simulation of Einstein’s equations and has contributed to the development of relevant formalisms and implementations for the study of gravitational waves and fundamental physics, has also been a member of the Gravitational Wave International Committee.
Tomás Andrade
Tomás Andrade (Lecturer at the Institut de Ciencies del Cosmos of the University of Barcelona) is a member of the LIGO-Virgo and EinsteinTelescope collaborations and is dedicated to simulating black hole collisions.
